Peter’s one to one

Peter has been riding for years and wanted to get better than his old hit and hope method of old. I adjusted his feet, body positioning as well as bike set up before working on applying the techniques we at ukbikeskills teach.

Pete said everything felt simpler and easier by the end of the session after we’d covered all kinds of things from drops, jumps, berms to bunny hops etc.

Great  session, high5!

John can jump

John  contacted us to learn to jump as in over 25yrs of riding he was never comfortable with trying jumps. The skills check showed the physical skills that needed work on and then the mental skills could be worked on. John was amazed he could suddenly bunnyhop and the session grew from there. Drops, jumping tabletops and even a gap jump , cornering was a huge improvement and we even worked on different ways of riding steep drop offs.

Cracking session John, High5!

Working on Steve’s distance of jumping

I have coached Steve before and he returned after a 2yr break for more coaching as he was feeling slower in turns and something was up with his jumping. I broke his skillset down before rebuilding it and applying it to berm riding and jumping in multiples and also judging speed for gaps to 13ft.

Awesome progress on a soggy day, high5!

Dan returns after a 4yr gap

I coached Dan 4/5yrs ago and he wanted to return to move his riding on and to get more relaxed whilst airborne. I discovered a weakness in his right hand turns as well as a body position error in jumping. I then built the session up and we ended up on the woodwork.

Brilliant improvements and it was most of all, fun.

High5!
