We all met in the car park and I gave everyone my commitment for the day and an outline for the coaching session. After identifying the missing skills during the skills health check we moved onto pumping, then onto the techniques that come from this. We worked on drops, roll ins, corners, unweighting the front and rear of the bike and over lapping sections. Ian, Seb, Paul and hannah all needed to work on their footwork and looking skills and develop them as well as controlling speed and body positioning.
By the end of the day, all the riders were displaying trail energy management and the skills werre showing as they moved fast and controlled down the trail.
