Joe was coached by Nathan two years ago and wanted to build on that and his mate Paul came along too to see what all the fuss was about.
The skills check showed body positioning needed work in all areas and then the mental skills.
We began with the drop technique and the effect was immediate as they were getting both wheels airborne with ease. We quickly moved to the 6ft tabletop and gap jump and they sailed over those with control and ease.
We took a break and when we resumed we worked on judging speed and distance when linking large jumps in a line as well as 7ft and 9ft gap jumps. By the end they were linking berms, pumping and jumping along trails with ease and it looked and felt effortless.
We finish the session with a pint in the pub and I can’t put my finger on why Nathan joined us 🙂
high5!
