Joe’s Session

Joe wanted to find the answer he always felt was just out of his grasp but that he was so close to. He came to me after reading recommendations and today was the day.

I deconstructed his riding and rebuilt it so he knew why it was right or wrong, he could feel it.

I worked on his physical and mental skills and we drew on his experiences from other sports. What a session!

Mike JP and Ad’s Fantastic Friday Skills Session

Mike and Ad came to me for coaching wanting to get away from the hang on and hope style of riding it sometimes felt like they did.

A warm day greeted us and I put them through my skills check and set up changes where I identify for them the areas that need work.I worked on footwork, looking and positioning in all areas of their riding and also worked hard on the mental skills too.

What a session it turned out to be. Drops, jumping tabletops, steeps, drop offs, pumping and linking jumps together , even a few gaps and a wall ride were thrown onto the mix.

Mark’s One to One

Mark wanted to overcome some confidence issues in his riding repertoire and my task was to identify why this was happening and it didn’t take me long.

I found his positioning was out and I made some small adjustements to his physical skill set as well as his bike and that made a huge difference.

I was able to work on Mark’s mental skills and made him aware of what he was doing on his bike technique wise.

Looking and body position , once corrected makes everything simpler and the mental skills blossom as a result.

Drops, corners, pumping, jumping, drop offs and riding over obstacles were all covered and demonstrated of course.
