Angus races xc and has ridden for over 25yrs but his fitness was way higher than his technical ability. Today I focussed on Angus’s body and foot positioning and later his overall vision. I began with a simple plank of wood on the floor and demonstrated why positioning is so important beofre long, he was riding obstacles simply and with confidence  and control. I moved to the drop and also drop off techniques and built the session gradually. cornering, pumping and absorbing air, later adding jumping. Angus was riding faster and had gone from not being able to jump to clearing a 15ft tabletop by the end. Amazing session.
