A damp day greeted myself and James and during the bike check I discovered an issue with his linkage that needed attention but was ok to start the session. I worked on his foot and body positioning and applied the corrected to techniques required when riding mountain bikes. It wasn’t long before he got his wish of getting his wheels off the ground and was linking drops into corners, riding through berms faster and smoother and clearing his first 7ft jump too. The linkage however could handle the new rider onboard and it quickly deteriorated which brought our session to a close. Great progression though James!
