James wanted to get better at jumping, having never cleared one to a downslope and also work on his cornering. I broke down the techniques I teach and worked with him on applying them, once his body and foot positioning had been corrected. We began with drops and James could feel it was different to his previous technique as he could land smoothly every time. We moved to a 7ft tabletop jump and he was soon clearing that too. Much to his amazement, he also began clearing a 7ft gap jump too. We then went onto cornering and later onto drop offs, before linking everything together
in the afternoon. Great progression.
